The place
One room, one bar, a stage you could step onto by accident. The kind of venue where the drummer walks past you to get to the toilet and where the floor is sticky by eleven. Nothing about it is comfortable and that is the reason people who live here keep an eye on the listings.
Before you go
Check the programme rather than the name. On the right night it is the best room in the city. On the wrong one it is a bar with a stage in it.
