The place
A new brown cafe in the Hamerkwartier, run by the team behind Skatecafe, inside four combined buildings from 1925 that used to house a machine factory. The front room has table football, darts and candlelit corners, the back rooms serve gastropub food such as Scotch eggs and steak frites from an English chef. For now it only opens on Fridays, with exhibitions and guest chefs planned.
