The place
The smallest cinema in the city and the oldest underground one, run without profit and largely without compromise. You climb a narrow staircase above a gym and find mismatched seats, a small screen and a programme of cult, activist and world cinema that no multiplex would touch. Five euros, no reservations, no adverts.
Before you go
Cash, and be early. Forty seats go fast and there is no way to hold one.
