The place

The Albert Cuyp gets the coach parties. This one gets the neighbourhood. Traders from Morocco, Turkey, Suriname and half of West Africa sell fish, herbs, fabric, phone cases and vegetables you will have to ask the name of. It is loud and crowded and entirely uninterested in you, which is the highest compliment a market can pay a visitor.
